Mining Museum – Mining Museum
BWR089 (CAS/DL)
Mining Museum emerge with their self-titled debut album, a twelve-track collection exploring the everyday, the absurdities of modern life and the relationship between work, place and identity.
Based in Cardiff, the band find inspiration in ordinary observations and experiences, balancing humour and melancholy with a distinctive, off-kilter approach to songwriting. Woven throughout the record are archival snippets exploring the history of Welsh mining, connecting its contemporary themes with Wales’ industrial and working history and providing a thread that runs through the album.
